I am i will in Michigan, and cant believe this state/governer will be stopping to extensions...i will loose everthing and be home!I dont understand why this is happening for unemployment, I think if this is the governor choice to make michigan people a little more poorer,,,well u will see a lot more people on the streets, and homeless...Jobs should be also most 100% before kicking people off extension....watch this lovely state real go down hill...

In theory you should be eligible for tier 2. Indiana should have sent you a letter or contacted you. Call them ASAP. Note that funding will run out in any case at end of month unless congress add more funds. Keep your fingers crossed.

Feb 28. Congress extended authorization as part of the payroll tax extension bill last year past end of 2011. They extended by 60 days. That makes cash available to end Feb by my calculation.

Robert, you may well be eligible out to march 10 but the authorization for funds to pay you expires Feb 28. Congress needs to re-authorize funding for EUC and EB. Get on the phone or email your congress critter.

I was notified in January that my EB benefits would be exhausted on march 10, 2012, but today i received in the mail that my state EB benefits (Michigan) would be exhausted on February 18, 2012. I am confused. Which date is the final one? I cannot get through on the hotline numbers they provided. They claim that they are having service difficulties.

I am a 99er. The clowns in DC aren't going to add a Tier 5 so out of luck. Jenn and James hopefully the clowns will reauthorize EUC so you will continue but who knows what they will do in an election year. Best case is we won't know right up until the last day.

I am in Michigan and just found out that as of Feb. 18 I will no longer receive the extended unemployment benefits. Nice! I have been searching for a job and am told at interviews that I am over qualified for the position or have no experience. Either way I am not getting hired. I guess they want me to lose my house so me and my children can live in a homeless shelter.

Tn is stopping its unemployment Feb. 29. his will leave families and individuals we no income. I have worked 30+ and had taxes taken out every pay check. I can't find a job in my field. I will lose everything I own (home, truck and will be homeless. It seem I payed all these years that I should get more unemployment checks. I think they wasted the money I payed all those years. The government should extend tn unemployment payments past FEB. 29. I think we are getting screwed by congress. They make to much money and get to many benefits. If they cut there salary some we could get what we need to get by until we can find jobs. The government get to much money and waste it.
