• Burger King Worker Disciplined For Poor Pickle Placement

EYM King, which rins22 Burger King restaurants around Detroit, was found to have illegally sent a pro-union worker home one day for allegedly failing to "put pickles on her sandwiches in perfect squares as she was supposed to do," according to the decision by Arthur J. Amchan, an administrative law judge.

In colorful fashion, a judge with the National Labor Relations Board ruled Monday that a major Burger King franchisee in Michigan had committed various forms of union-busting in the face of worker strikes and organizing.

  • Scott Walker - ALEC Gofer

    UPDATE: From Bloomberg this morning.

Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker will call for massive restrictions to organized labor, including some he pushed for in home state of Wisconsin that helped propel him onto national stage.

“Any economic plan that does not bring our federal labor laws into the 21st Century is incomplete,” Walker is expected to say. “To grow the economy at a higher rate, requires a comprehensive approach and reform of the labor unions is a key part of the plan.”

His "reform" of course is the almost complete anhilation of public sector unions and the decimation of remaining private sector unions. Godd one Scott!
