History Lessons

Those who forget history are destined to relive it. Now more than ever that sentence hold true. Even worse, many have forgotten their history AND look on the past of the United States through a mythical lens and wish for a time that never existed. It takes someone like Howard Zinn to remind us of the blood, tears and heartache that cost to be in the present.

Here we will use the experience of revealed history to encourage us to move forward. We will often draw on the writing of Howard Zinn's "A People's History of the United States" to highlight the many parallels of our experiences of the last several hundred years and today.
