NoJobSurvivor has started a petition targeting The U.S. Senate, The U.S. House of Representatives and The President out of concern for the millions of hardworking, out-of-work Americans who are about to time-out on their unemployment benefits. U.S. citizens are appalled at Congress's inaction to extend and fund benefits and at its inability to provide a viable jobs program. The petition reads as follows. Please click the link to the petition site below and sign (requires clicking 'sign' on 2 pages). Thank you!
Senators, Representatives, and Mr. President:
If you do not extend unemployment benefits past 99 weeks, you will be putting MILLIONS of formerly hard-working Americans out onto the street.
Did you just breeze over that phrase, or did it really sink in?:
MILLIONS of formerly hard-working Americans will be out on the street.
This is not hyperbole, THIS IS THE TRUTH. And YOU will be responsible.
And never mind how stopping benefits is completely unfair to laid-off workers since they did work their whole lives for unemployment benefits, here’s the bigger issue:
HOW WILL SENDING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE OUT ONTO THE STREET MAKE THE ECONOMY BETTER? Seriously. How will that help?
YOU need to extend benefits and pass a jobs bill that works. That is YOUR JOB. That's what we're paying you for.
If you can’t do the job we’re paying you for, we can fire you. Your choice.
Add a Tier 5 while you’re working hard on a jobs bill that works.
Thanks.
Are you confused by congressional statements that HR 4213 will extend benefits but you are ineligible? This video gives a cogent explanation.

Workers in BMW's auto plants in Germany make twice as much as US workers in BMW plants who make $15 an hour. Oh and by the way German workers get 35 days of vacation AND decent healthcare.
The tea party want to abolish the minimum wage. Did YOU VOTE?
