  • September 29, 2010 - Senator Stabenow's 99er bill, S3706 died in the senate today.  Sen. LeMieux brought out the tired how much this is going to cost our grandchildren spiel. It’s unfortunate that Sen. LeMieux is willing to sacrifice the financial lives of current grandchildren for their benefit when they grow up I am always in wonder how a Republican senator speaks to his grandchildren during an unemployment crisis.  Sen. LeMeiux, children and their families need help now, not in some distant future that could change dramatically from the way things are today. Lets get America back to work so they can take care of their grandchildren properly.

Minimum Wage

Workers in BMW's auto plants in Germany make twice as much as US workers in BMW plants who make $15 an hour. Oh and by the way German workers get 35 days of vacation AND decent healthcare.
