ONCE AGAIN the GOP shows how completely clueless they are by suggesting that UI benefits are keeping people from looking for work. Georgia Republican Rep. John Linder is at it this time. "And even when businesses are willing to hire, nearly two years of unemployment benefits are too much of an allure for some," said Linder. These unfortunately powerful people are insane. And to further prove their stupidity, they're accusing people who walk away from their homes of being cheats. Read on... The House GOP launched an assault Thursday on homeowners who walk away from underwater mortgages, arguing that such foreclosed-on former homeowners are using the money they save to dine out and go on cruises.
