Clear Channel Communications, the right-leaning radio media conglomerate, has shed nearly 3,000 employees, or 12% of its workforce so far this year.

Clear Channel saves $400-million from these layoffs which is the same amount it pays to it's most famous employee, Rush Limbaugh in their new 8-year contract.

In the meantime Limbaugh denies the recession.

"But during all this growth I haven't lost any audience. I've never had financially a down year. There's supposedly a recession, but we've got - what is this May? Back in February we already had 102% of 2008 overbooked for 2009. [applause] So I always believed that if we're going to have a recession, just don't participate. [laughter]"

With a $400,000,000.00 contract in hand, including a $100,000,000.00 signing bonus (yes a 9-figure signing bonus), he laughs at the plight of his once fellow-workers... and at your plight.

Minimum Wage

Workers in BMW's auto plants in Germany make twice as much as US workers in BMW plants who make $15 an hour. Oh and by the way German workers get 35 days of vacation AND decent healthcare.

The tea party want to abolish the minimum wage. Did YOU VOTE?
