Finally the Congressional Democrats were able pass the "Motion to Invoke Closure" for Unemployment Extention Bill (HR 4213) and unemployment benefits will be restored... somewhat. The bill has been so watered down by Republicans and Dem. Ben Nelson (including removing Tier 5 for the 99ers) that it really won't do much for the economy and is further insult to the tens of millions of formally hardworking Americans who have lost their jobs BECAUSE CONGRESS deregulated the banks and the markets.
How did the bill change and become a mere ghost of its original self?
