Looking for job fairs? The logical thing to do is to start locally, by doing an Internet search with the search terms: "career fair", "job fair", or "job event" and add both the city and state you're in / where you desire to work.
But, the following sites could also be helpful:
- CarouselExpo for a clickable map of US states and current job fairs in those states.
- Idealist.org for events ranging from networking, to community gatherings, to job fairs.
- The Federal Jobs Network for a range of help for finding and applying to US Governement jobs.
- National Career Fairs -- job fairs in the US.
- Check out your state's job page or call your local UI office.
- Look into the companies that do business in your area. Whether it's a coffee-shop chain, restaurant chain, or computer softwarehardware -- often they will hold job fairs.
- Do a search on Craig's List.
